ABOUT ODISHA COUNSELLING
The medical education courses in the state of Odisha are regulated by the Directorate of Medical Education & Training, Bhubaneswar. Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) office is appointed by Directorate of Medical Education & Training to conduct the whole admission procedure for 85% State Quota seats. OJEE is assigned to carry out the whole counselling process strictly on the basis of merit and the candidates’ preferences. The counselling for the 85% State quota seats is conducted by OJEE, while for the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats, it is conducted by the DGHS.
Admissions in the MBBS/BDS courses are based on the NEET UG exam score from which the state merit ranks are then derived.
