Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, is the authority which provides admissions to MBBS/BDS seats in Kerala’s medical and dental colleges. The admission to medical/dental courses is done by CEE on the basis of NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) scores obtained by the candidates. CAP (Centralized Admission Process) is conducted by CEE through KEAM (Kerala Architecture, Engineering and Medical) to admit students to seats as available in government, government controlled self-financed and private self-financed colleges
Admission to medical or dental colleges of Kerala is done through CAP conducted by CEE as per the state rank list prepared on the basis of NEET score. Candidates desirous to take admission in Kerala’s colleges are first called to submit their NEET scores online, on the basis of which state (Kerala) rank lists (general merit and category-wise) are prepared by CEE. Candidates are then called for allotment of seats as per their rank in the state rank lists published by CEE.
The ‘All about NEET Counselling: Kerala’ E-book aims to give aspirants an overview of the entire admission process for the state of Kerala including the number of colleges and seats, important dates, reservation, application procedure, counselling procedure, fees, scholarships and Kerala specific admission rules to keep in mind.
